About The Daze Portraits

An offshoot of Words of the Daze. In this exploration my model was constrained to work in pink, yellow, and black in a mode reminiscent of cubists with surreal sensibilities. The seed of creation was the Merriam-Webster word of the day. In this instance the model was told to create a portrait of 'blank' typically a word that was a nebulous or abstract concept - rarely a noun. 16 variations were generated and then stitched into the final work to create the effect of 'the daze'. I had fun on this sidetrack.
